1. Scope

These terms apply to every quotation, booking and assignment of «LEGAL NAME», trading as Sarp Gurel Media ("the Studio"). A client's own purchase conditions are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing. Where a signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement prevails.

2. Quotations and booking

Quotations are valid for «14/30» days and are exclusive of 21% BTW unless stated otherwise. A booking is confirmed only once the client has accepted in writing and the deposit has been received. A date is not held before that.

3. Fees, deposit and payment

4. Delivery

An edited selection is delivered within «N» working days of the shoot, by download link valid for «N» days. The selection and the edit are the Studio's creative judgement. «N» round(s) of revision are included; further rounds are charged at the hourly rate. Raw or unedited files are not part of the delivery and are not supplied.

5. Copyright and licence

Copyright in all photographs and designs remains with the Studio at all times (Auteurswet Art. 1). Nothing in these terms transfers it.

On full payment the client receives a licence to use the delivered work:

Use beyond this scope — advertising, resale, stock libraries, or use by a third party — requires a separate written agreement and fee. Cropping or retouching that alters the character of the work needs permission (Auteurswet Art. 25). Where reasonable, the Studio should be credited as © Sarp Gurel Media.

6. Portfolio use

The Studio may publish the work in its own portfolio, website, social channels and competition entries, unless the client objects in writing before the shoot. Where the work is confidential or embargoed, the client must say so in advance; an embargo or a permanent opt-out will be respected.

7. People in the photographs

Where the client organises the shoot, the client is responsible for ensuring that the people photographed know they are being photographed and that any required model releases are in place, and indemnifies the Studio against claims arising from a missing release. The Studio handles personal data as set out in the privacy policy, and honours removal requests from anyone photographed, as described there.

8. Cancellation and rescheduling

See the separate cancellation and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Force majeure, illness and equipment

If the Studio cannot perform because of illness, accident, extreme weather, or another cause outside its control, it will offer a replacement date or, failing that, refund all sums paid. Liability is limited to that refund.

In the event of equipment failure or loss or corruption of data despite reasonable care — including redundant capture and backup where the equipment allows — liability is limited to a refund of the fee for the affected work.

10. Liability

The Studio's total liability per assignment is limited to the invoice value of that assignment, or to the amount its insurer pays out, whichever is higher. Indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, is excluded. None of these limits apply to intent or deliberate recklessness, nor where Dutch consumer law does not allow them.

11. Complaints

Complaints about delivered work must be made in writing within «N» days of delivery, with enough detail to act on. A complaint does not suspend the payment obligation.

12. Governing law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in «DISTRICT», except where mandatory rules give a consumer the right to another court. Nothing here limits a consumer's mandatory statutory rights.
